If you had a bad experience with a shampoo bar & the ingredient listed contained lye, you used soap pretending to be shampoo. Our bar is made from coconut-based surfactants that produce an amazing lather while gently cleaning your hair. We have 2 great options to choose from: the original shampoo bar with a fresh Mango Pineapple scent, and a Sulfate Free Rice Bar.

If you have never tried a shampoo bar, we made the travel sized bars just for you! Same ingredients as our full-sized bars, just smaller and less expensive. You can give them a test without feeling like you have to spend a bunch of money. And they are perfect for trips.

Both the Mango Pineapple Shampoo Bars and the Sulfate Free Rice Shampoo Bars are gluten free.

Mango Pineapple Bars - One of our most popular blends! Fresh mango, juicy pineapple, a tropical treat! It is like a mini vacation, without the sand! Colors vary but the fragrance is the same.

Sulfate Free Rice Bars - Scented with a fresh, clean fragrance called OMG Olive. A blend of bright citrus fruits, leafy olive branches, softened with musk and a touch of vanilla.

Additional Information

  • Surfactants

    Surfactant means surface active agent. They stir up activity on the surface to help trap dirt and remove it. They are the main component of cleaning formulas. All shampoos, body washes, any cleaner has these to work, but we use the more mild ones, that are derived from plants, mostly coconuts or palm.

  • Preservatives

    Preservatives are required in any cosmetic product that contains water. Neither of these bars contains water, so no preservative is needed. However we have added a broad spectrum preservative to the Rice Bar since that one contains Rice Starch. The usage rate is .5% - 1%. There is no such thing as a "natural" preservative.

  • Protein & Oil

    Using oil in shampoo bars helps moisturize your hair and scalp. Proteins can strengthen, add shine and body to your hair. Bottled shampoos are mostly water, with less of these ingredients.

  • Packaging

    All of our bars come with reusable containers. Bot travel sized bars are in screw top tins, as is the full sized Mango bar. The full sized Rice bar comes in a cute little bamboo steamer, perfect to keep your bar dry when not in use.
